How much does a professional organizer cost in Israel? 2026 prices (₪ per hour and packages)

By Jaime Boolkin, Habayit Sheli

If you've searched this in English, you've probably noticed something: almost nobody tells you. Most organizers in Israel ask you to call, send photos or "get a quote." That's fine, but it makes budgeting hard. So here's an honest, sourced overview of what home organizing costs in Israel in 2026, what drives the price, and how to compare offers.

Full disclosure: we're an organizing studio and we publish our own prices (more on that at the end). The market figures below come from public price guides and organizers' own websites as of October 2026.

Professional organizer cost per hour in Israel: the short answer

  • Typical hourly rate, one organizer: about ₪150–200 per hour, according to the Midrag price guide. Individual Midrag listings we reviewed ranged from roughly ₪120 to ₪220 an hour.
  • Well-known "personality" organizers: around ₪200–250 per hour for one organizer. One prominent Israeli organizer lists that range on her services page.
  • Teams of two: roughly ₪300–450 per hour for the team. One company publishes ₪430/hr for two organizers and ₪450/hr for three.
  • Minimums: commonly 2.5–4 hours, and full sessions often run 4–8 hours.

What people actually pay for common jobs

Hourly rates only tell half the story, because jobs usually take longer than people expect. Midrag publishes what customers actually paid:

  • Walk-in closet: average around ₪1,087
  • Closet organizing: average around ₪1,171 (most jobs under ₪1,500)
  • Kids' room: average around ₪1,283
  • Kitchen after a move: around ₪1,147
  • Kitchen + closets + a room: around ₪2,490

For moves, Midrag's guide puts packing and unpacking at about ₪1,000–2,000 for a 3-room apartment, ₪2,000–3,500 for 4 rooms and ₪3,500–5,000 for 5 rooms. A full day with one organizer is listed at around ₪1,200–1,600.

Online consultations

If you mostly want a plan and plan to do the work yourself, online consults in Israel run roughly ₪449–650. Some include a few weeks or months of WhatsApp support.

What about home styling?

Styling is usually priced separately, and higher. Midrag's styling guide lists ₪250–500 per hour for a styling consult (often a 2–3 hour visit) and ₪250–400 per hour for a stylist's working time. Full styling projects go much higher. That's why "organize and style" can add up if you hire two different people.

What drives the price

  1. Hourly vs. fixed price. Most Israeli organizers bill by the hour per person. Fixed-price packages are less common, but they're easier to budget.
  2. Team size. Two organizers finish faster but cost about twice as much per hour.
  3. Minimum hours. A ₪180/hr organizer with a 4-hour minimum is a ₪720 decision before anything else.
  4. Travel and parking. Some organizers charge travel, especially between regions.
  5. VAT. Some prices include VAT and some don't. Always ask.
  6. Products. Containers, drawer dividers and hangers are almost never included. You'll buy them from IKEA, ACE, Home Center, Max Stock, online, or through the organizer.
  7. The volume of stuff. Two similar-looking closets can take very different amounts of time.

How to compare quotes, fairly

Ask every organizer the same five questions:

  1. Is the price per hour or per session, and is it per person?
  2. Is there a minimum? How long do jobs like mine actually take?
  3. Does the price include VAT, travel and parking?
  4. Are products included, marked up, or bought at cost?
  5. What happens to the things I don't keep? Do you take donations away?

Then compare the total likely cost, not the hourly rate.

Is a professional organizer worth it?

It depends on what your time and stress are worth. Organizers are most valuable when:

  • you're moving or just made aliyah and the boxes are winning
  • a space has defeated you more than once (the kitchen, the kids' room, the machsan)
  • you need decisions made fast, by someone with no emotional attachment
  • you want it to look good, not just tidy

If budget is tight, a single planning session plus a DIY approach can go a long way.

Our prices (for transparency)

At Habayit Sheli, we price by the session, not by the hour:

  • Reset & Style Session: ₪790, about 3 hours. Declutter, organize and style one space.
  • The Walkthrough: ₪350 planning visit, credited in full to your session.
  • The Landing (lift unpacking/move-in): from ₪1,490.

Every price is on our pricing page. If your project is bigger than one session, we'll say so before you book.

FAQ

What's a professional organizer's hourly rate in Israel? About ₪150–200 per hour for one organizer, according to the Midrag price guide, and around ₪200–250 for well-known names. Teams of two run about ₪300–450 per hour.
Do organizers in Israel charge VAT? It depends on how the business is registered. Some prices include VAT and some don't, so always ask whether a quote is the final amount.
Is it cheaper to hire someone by the hour? Sometimes the hourly rate is lower, but minimums and longer sessions can make the total higher. Compare the likely total for your job.
Do I need a team of two? For whole-home moves or very full spaces, a team is faster. For one closet, kitchen or kids' room, one experienced organizer is usually enough.
Can I just get a plan and do it myself? Yes. An online or in-home planning session is the most budget-friendly way to get professional input.

Bottom line: in 2026, expect roughly ₪150–250 per organizer-hour in Israel, minimums of 2.5–4 hours, and real-world totals around ₪1,000–1,300 for a typical closet or kids' room. Ask about VAT, travel and products, and compare total cost, not hourly rates.
